About Us

Shelly Winemiller, MA, LMFT

​Shelly Winemiller, MA, LMFT completed graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy at Adler Graduate School and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She specializes in couples and family therapy, co-dependency, adolescent development issues, sex addiction recovery, recovery from sex abuse and trauma, and family adaptation to cancer.

Shelly believes each individual has a wellspring of answers and truth that lie within, and that emotional safety is critical and necessary in order to heal and restore past and current wounds.  She finds it a privilege to sit with adults as well as children to help them find their own answers to their unique situations.

Ed Patton, DMFT, LMFT

Ed Patton, DMFT, LMFT has a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University Twin Cities. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  Ed has worked in field for over 5 years.  His professional experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and families with a variety of issues including: Parent/child relationship issues, blended families, couples issues, depression, anxiety disorders, anger, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress, sexual abuse, spiritual issues, and sexual addictions recovery. 

Ed believes many difficulties are developed and maintained in relationship experiences. By looking within at how attachment experiences, and mistaken beliefs and assumptions shape our view of self and others we can begin to heal and redefine our place in the world.  Ed has training in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFTC), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  He uses a calm integrative theory approach to calm help clients become aware of the answers they already possess for their recovery and healing.

Yvette Kidman, MA, Therapist

Yvette Kidman, MA, graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and is currently working toward her clinical licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. She works with individuals, couples, and families to find hope and healing from past wounding and present troubles.  She has a passion for family wholeness and health.  Yvette also focuses on families with special needs children, post-abortive women, as well as, adolescents and women struggling with self-esteem and general adjustment issues.

Yvette believes each individual is uniquely created and endowed with immeasurable value regardless of their abilities or circumstances.  She also believes that past and current wounding may prevent an individual from being all he or she was meant to be.  It is her desire to provide an empathetic ear while partnering with her clients to find healing and direction in life through an integrative therapy approach.
